On our "Visit" subpage, we offer you the option to use an interactive map service from Google Maps to make it easier to find our location. This service is operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Functionality: The service is disabled by default. Data transmission to Google only occurs after you give your explicit consent by actively clicking on the map or a corresponding button (two-click solution).

Data transmission: When you give your consent, your browser will establish a direct connection to Google's servers. Your IP address will be transmitted to Google. Google may also store additional cookies on your device and process information about your use of the map for its own purposes (analysis, advertising).

Legal basis: The use of Google Maps is based exclusively on your consent in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Third country transfer: By using Google Maps, data may be transferred to Google servers in the USA. From the EU's perspective, the USA is considered a country without an adequate level of data protection. Google relies on the "EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework" for such transfers.
